Oil pump, high capacity

The high capacity oil pump was originally fitted to the Bentley 4 1/4L engine only. It was standardised on production from the start of K series. This was part of an on-going exercise to overcome problems of big-end failures.

4 1/4L engines not fitted with the high capacity pump prior to Bentley K-series were modified and equipped with this pump if they were being overhauled by Rolls-Royce or a Service Depot.
