This is a reproduction of the pull switch fitted to the instrument panel of many pre-war Rolls-Royce and Derby Bentley cars from about 1933 onwards. It is a single pole switch (switching a single cable), Open circuit condition is with the knob pushed in, closed circuit condition is with the knob pulled out. It is retained by two countersunk screws passing through the switch bezel.
